We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lunchtime Play Leader to join our team at Fremington Primary School. The successful candidate will be responsible for organising and supervising play activities during lunchtime, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for all children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage with children during lunchtime play activities. Organise and lead a variety of play activities, including sports, games, and creative play.
  • Promote positive behaviour and ensure the safety and well-being of all children. Encourage inclusive play and support children in developing social skills.
  • Assist with the setup and tidying up of play equipment and areas. Communicate effectively with other staff members and report any concerns or incidents.
  • Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere in line with the school’s values and policies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience working with children in a school or similar setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to organize and lead engaging play activities.
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. Basic first aid training (desirable).
  • A commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all children.
